It's official! From June 22nd 3PT will be reopening it's doors. We can't wait to get back into the studio and get stuck into helping our clients crush their goals for the remainder of the year. With that being said, we are fully aware that as nation we are not in the clear yet. Whilst we are very grateful we have the opportunity to reopen it does also mean there will be some strict measures in place to ensure we can provide a safe training environment for our members and staff. Please read below for a full out line of our COVID - 19 CODE. Anyone who enters the gym (including coaches) will be bound to this code. This code is also subject to change as more information comes out. It was developed by a combination of information gathered from the local residents on what would make then feel comfortable to return along with the guidelines provided by the government. We are at an advantage as we are a private facility that specialises in 1:1 coaching with a few memberships available meaning we can tightly control numbers and who comes in and out.  If you have any question on the following please reach out at any time. 

Just so you are aware, we are now taking pre registrations for new clients. In order to maintain control over gym numbers, we only have space for a capped number of new members and PT clients. For all new clients we have a special 'back to the gym' offer. If you are interested in reserving your spot in our facility then please register your interest at the bottom of this page.  


General Measures


  • All members/clients intending to use the gym must complete our 3PT Duty Of Disclosure regarding recent health history. This will also include an agreement to inform us of any changes to your health for the foreseeable future.  

  • 3PT will be completing deep cleans 3 x daily using high strength products. These will be done after morning peak, during lunch time closure and at the end of the day.

  • To keep track of who is coming in and out of the gym, all PT clients must have a booking with their coach and all members must have nominated days and times of training (more info below).

  • Any members/clients that displays the first signs and symptoms of illness will not be permitted in the gym.

  • There will be multiple sanitising stations including the studio entry and then areas inside the studio. This will include hand sanitiser and wipes.

  • Staff have all completed the Governments Covid – 19 Infection Control Certification

  • We understand that some people are accustom to being able to bring their kids to the gym. Our preferred option is for you to leave them at home during this time. If you do need to bring children then it may effect what time you can come in i.e limited to off peak times. Please get in touch with us to discuss this individually.

Gym Rules


  • There will be a capped number of 20 people allowed in the gym at any one time (more info below).

  • All members/clients will be subject to temperature checks before entering the gym

  • All members/clients are to sanitise their hands at the station provided before entry

  • All members/clients are required to bring towels

  • All equipment it to be wiped after use using disinfectant provided.

  • All members/clients will confined to one area at a time. There will be no super setting of exercises at different spots in the gym or taking up excessive amounts of equipment. Please also be conscious of the amount of time you are spending on equipment.

  • Disinfectant spray will be provided in the shower and bathrooms. We ask that you spray and wipe the all the surfaces you touch after use. We only have 1 shower so this will be easy to manage.

Gym Numbers & Time Allotment


There will be a max of 20 people in the gym at any one time in compliance with government guidelines.


PT clients will have will be allocated 45 minutes in the gym. These session must be booked in advance.

  • 30 minutes with your coach

  • 15 minutes to finish remainder of program

  • We ask that you show up on time and not earlier to avoid crowing the space.

Gym Members will have 60 minute time slots available and they must nominate days and times upon joining.

  • Peak times there will only be 5-7 spots available depending on coach bookings (if you don’t need to train at peak times please don’t nominate them). Peak times are

    • 5:30am – 6:30am Monday - Friday

    • 6:30am – 7:30am Monday – Friday

    • 5:30pm - 6:30pm Monday - Thursday

    • 9am – 10am Saturday

  • All other times we will be making 7-9 spots available 


If a member books a peak time and fails to consistently attend then they will be asked to select another time unless we have been given reason as to why. We have limited capacity for members and therefore will prioritise those that are committed to training.


If you are a member and you show up to the gym outside a time you have nominated then your entry will be subject to how many are already in the studio.


General Code Of Conduct


  1. First and foremost please be respectful of others. This goes across the board no matter how or when you’re dealing with individuals. You are sharing this space with others and you must remember that at all times. Disrespect and selfish behaviour will not be tolerated.

  2. Please be patient. With social distancing still being a requirement and our rules around equipment use, we ask that you be patient with one another. Yes that may mean you need to alter your program etc but it’s what we need to do for now. On the other hand, please don’t be that person that sits on a piece for 30 minutes.

  3. Clearly gyms have peak times and we are a small facility. We have asked that you nominate and make bookings for all entries into the gym. With your bookings, if you do not need a peak time then please don’t book it. Although it may suit you better to train at 6:30am, you may be taking that option off someone that doesn’t have a choice.

  4. 3PT coaches will policing our guidelines and if we ask you to do something then please respect it. Whilst it may seem tedious and over the top to you, for others it gives them the confidence to keep using the facility. On that same token we ask that you hold us a coaches accountable also.
